Good morning!
In case you missed the email, we're celebrating St. Patrick's Day all week long with a 10% off sale -- good for everything in the store.
We've gotten some great feedback lately on our new country curtains and window treatments (here's our post on all the new patterns!) so we thought we'd take some time today to share some fun ideas for dressing up your windows.

1. Use household items as curtain hardware and tiebacks. A belt, a length or rope or even a tree branch can add a personal touch to your country curtains.

2. Contrast. If you have dark walls or wooden window frames, try a light, airy pattern on the windows to add contrast. Or, if you have a light, neutral colored room, try painting the window frame a darker color!

3. Mix textures. We've mentioned before how we're big fans of mixing plaids with stripes!

4. The ball gown effect. Better Homes and Gardens suggests it's okay to let those extra long curtain panels pool on the floor rather than simply brush the surface. It's called "puddling!"
We also got a great photo from a customer who just received an order of the swags from us. We love getting pictures from you guys!
If you have any of our items in your house, email your photos to
Marie@primitivehomedecors.com or post it on our Facebook page and we'll share it on the blog.
Do you have any fun tips or tricks for window treatm
