A tribute to quilts

Quilts

When you're watching a good movie.
When you're reading a good book.
When you're having a picnic.
When you're sipping red wine (or hot cocoa!) by the fire.
When you're telling ghost stories.
When you're building a fort in the living room.
When the kids are finally in bed.

Clifton, Stonebridge and a hodge podge of new lamps and night lights

Thursday!

So, the week's almost over but we are just getting started. You may have gotten an email this week about some new collections and accessories we just added to the website. (If not, see it here!)

Stonebridge is another pattern from Park Designs. It's got a simple charm to it, and the navy and beige colors coordinate with a variety of other patterns and shades of dinnerware (we recommend the Molasses, Star Vine or Casual Classics bisque ceramics!).

Shown above: Stonebridge napkin, place mat and table runner.

And these are the Stonebridge 63" gathered swags (also available in 36" length)

They are one of the more unique window treatments we sell because they comes as a pair, which offers a little more flexibility for sizing and placement.

Also available: Stonebridge valance, 24" tiers, 36" tiers, lined curtain panels and drapes.

Last, an applique pillow and decorative dish towel.

As if that weren't enough, we also just added the Clifton line of hooks and racks!

It includes an assortment of the usual bathroom towel bars, towel rings and towel hooks, as well as some fun kitchen and dining room accessories like the plate racks, and the paper towel holder.

Last but not least, we've added some fun new night lights and lamps and they're just too fun not to mention here today...

Antique brass lamp with shade

Sewing caddy lamp

Coffee pot lamp

Hooded hurricane oil lamp

Oval reflector candlestick lamp

Sea lantern night light

Grater night light

Botanical garden night light

You can find photo albums of these collections on our Facebook page!

Do you like to make big weekend plans, or do you prefer to stay home and read a good book?

This just in! Folk Art by Park Designs

Park Designs just keeps crankin' 'em out and we keep adding them to our website because they are always a big hit! This pattern is what we like to call log cabin chic. The Folk Art line includes kitchen linens and window treatments and this table runner, which might be the folksiest thing we've seen all year.

And we mean that in a good way.

Shown with Star Vine dinnerware, a great match. And check out this shower curtain!

Shown with the Home Place shower curtain hooks, toothbrush holder, soap dispenser, tumbler, tissue box holder and bath towels.

Check out our website or Facebook page for photos of the complete collection.

And now here's a DIY trivia question just for fun: we had a customer ask for some advice this week on hanging fishtail swags on a wall with three windows. Have you ever done this? What are some unique ways that you have hung window swags? One window, two windows, or three?

5 months from today is...

Yup, you guessed it!

We're making room for a ton of incoming holiday decorations by putting all of last year's items into clearance. Isn't July is a great time to do your holiday shopping? No long lines, the weather is nice and you don't even need any coupons!

Mantle scarves are one of our most popular holiday decor items, still available in five fun patterns. And they have a 2-1/2" rod pocket to double as a window valance!

Stockings and tree skirts to match, of course.

These stocking hangars were new to us last year and they were a big hit.

We still have a great selection of tree toppers and ornaments.

One of our personal favorites is this red yo-yo garland! It coordinates well with a lot of country holiday decor.

We'll be sending an email about clearance sale items soon! If you're not currently receiving our email alerts, you can sign up here. New email subscribers get $5 off any order of $25 or more!

This just in: Thistleberry, Heart's Delight, Candlewicking, Heirloom, oh my!

We hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day and were able to spend some quality time with the ones you love.
We're back this week with a ton of new stuff!
You may have received an email from us last week about Thistleberry, a new collection from Park Designs that includes home decor, window treatments, bath accessories and ceramics and dinnerware.

The ceramics include a large collection of dinnerware as well as serving ware and accessories.

The bathroom collection includes a darling ceramic tissue box cover, tumbler, soap dispenser and toothbrush holder.

And matching towels!

Window treatments include two sizes of tiers, a valance and swags.

We've also just added two collections from Raghu, and you can save 20% instantly on these collections until June 17!

The Candlewicking collection includes table linens, window treatments and a lamp shade in three sizes.

Heirloom is a collection of window treatments that includes panels, window scarves and drapes in two neutral shades, cream and oat.

Last, but certainly not least is Heart's Delight! This is truly a delightful collection of primitive home decor and accessories. And you have until June 15 to save 10% on this collection!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner and we thought it would be a great time to do a gift guide and show off some off the great spring items we have in stock as well as some things you might not even know we have.

Lasting Lite candle sleeves and bases. We just introduced these earlier this week, but we can't think of a better way to light up your mom's day.

Heart shaped rugs! These are some of our most loved braided rugs, and since they can go just about anywhere, they make the perfect gift.

Love sign. This is a new item and something we're personally very fond of. The LOVE letters sit on a wooden base and with a charming love-letter-and-key theme, it's a fun gift for your mom, or (if you are a dad and you found this post because you're searching online for gift ideas), the mom of your kids!

Love you to the moon pillow and rustic sign. A classic piece, the Moon and Back coordinates well with a lot of primitive decor.

Spring dolls. Our collection of spring critters from Pearson's are some of our most beloved dolls. Our little lady bug is shown below.

Candle wraps. We have 10 fun wraps to choose from, and they're sure to warm any room or heart.

Rustic heart sign. Another new item, soon to be an old favorite?

Live Laugh Love sign. A simple theme that makes a grand impression.

And from one of our Facebook posts this week, our favorite answer to the question, What is the best gift you've ever been given:  "My children!"
