We're excited to introduce a new vendor to the Primitive Home Decors family: CR Designs is the maker of LastingLite flameless candles, a really unique type of flameless candle because the bases are made from real wax, so they're pretty and authentic looking. And each one is made right here in the USA, in Indiana actually!
We've just added a collection of 16 candle sleeves and 7 different candle bases. You can mix and match, or pop in a new sleeve for every holiday.
A 6-watt flame tip bulb is included with each base.
The candle sleeves are made from real wax, so you care for them just as you would a regular taper candle: store in moderate temperature and keep away from direct sunlight.
Check out our album on Facebook or our website to see the entire collection.
And if you're embarking on a bathroom makeover in the near future, our new collections may provide some additional inspiration: Home Place, Star Vine, Pine Bluff and Thistleberry.
Later this week: a Mother's Day gift guide!
What is the best gift you have given or have received?

Little Houses (and a reader poll!)
Home Place is a collection we've offered for quite a while now that includes kitchen towels, decor and window treatments, but we've just recently added a fun selection of country bathroom decor items.
In our last post, we talked about how one item can inspire a whole project, and we think the whimsical little details in the Home Place collection provide just that kind of inspiration.
Take a look...(click image to view product page).
What is the first thing you notice about a person's bathroom: the overall theme or colors? The bath towels? Or whether the toilet paper roll is hanging the "right" way on the rack? :)

Bathroom makeover
We just added more than ONE HUNDRED items to our bathroom decor category!
New bathroom decor items from Park Designs include the Home Place, Star Vine, Pine Bluff and Thistleberry collections, just to name a few.
Rather than try to cover all of these items at once, we thought it would be fun to do a bathroom makeover series to share all the new items, plus some fun tips.
When you're doing a home makeover, how you do begin? Do you choose an overall theme first, or does just one item inspire you? We find that often, it's something as simple as a pretty toothbrush holder or a unique toilet paper rack that becomes the driving force behind the project.
Other posts on bathroom decor:
And don't forget, our Spring Cleaning Sale is still going on through May 1. We have hundreds of discontinued and clearance items from 10-50% off, while they last.

Who says you can't be inspired by a toilet paper holder?
What are some other important considerations for a bathroom makeover?
- Budget
- Time
- Need vs. Want
- Do you have a plan, or are you just winging it?
- DIY or hiring help?
- What is the best way to maximize your space?
